Water Harvesting System: 1st Feb 2013

The ethos behind the development of Arthur Court is to be as eco friendly as possible. The whole Pudsey area contains a layer of clay approximately 2 meters underground, so this creates an exciting opportunity to set up a water harvesting system. Essentially, each house will have a 2400 litre tank buried underground which will harvest all the rain water from the roof . This water can then be used at will for the toilets, washing machine and watering the garden.
